1. Scope and Parties

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website prompt-score.com (including all subpages such as /v2/) and all related services branded as "Prompt-Score™" (together "Prompt-Score", "we", "us" or "our"). The contractual partner and responsible party is the person named in our Legal Notice.

By accessing or using Prompt-Score, including the free Beta, any scoring tools, and any paid digital products (e.g. certificates, badges, add-ons), you ("you", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Prompt-Score.

2. Description of Service

Prompt-Score is an experimental scoring and feedback tool for AI prompts. It helps users evaluate and improve the structure and clarity of prompts they use with AI models. The service may include:

• Interactive scoring and feedback on prompts ("Prompt-Score™ Beta").
• Display of scores, tiers and related prompt information.
• Downloadable digital certificates (Standard, Pro, Elite) as PDF files.
• Digital badges and related graphics for personal use (e.g. PNG files).

The exact scope of features may change over time, especially while Prompt-Score is in Beta. We reserve the right to modify, expand or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

3. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use Prompt-Score only if you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

You agree not to:

• Use Prompt-Score in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, defamatory or otherwise abusive.
• Try to reverse engineer, circumvent or manipulate the scoring logic or security measures.
• Use Prompt-Score for automated scraping, mass data extraction or similar purposes.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

4. No Professional Advice

Prompt-Score is intended as a tool to improve AI prompts and communication quality. The results, scores and feedback are automatically generated and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.

In particular, Prompt-Score is not a substitute for:

• Legal advice
• Medical or psychological advice
• Financial, tax or investment advice
• Any other professional consulting or expert evaluation

You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use any feedback or content generated via Prompt-Score.

5. AI, Data Handling and Privacy

Prompt-Score may use third-party AI services and infrastructure to process your prompts, scores and certificates. By using Prompt-Score, you agree that your input can be processed by such services for the purpose of providing and improving the functionality.

You must not intentionally submit personal data, trade secrets or other highly confidential information. The Beta is not designed for handling sensitive categories of data (e.g. health data, full customer datasets).

6. Paid Products, Prices and Payment

Prompt-Score may offer paid digital products, such as:

• Standard Certificate
• Pro Certificate
• Elite Certificate
• Digital badges or future add-ons

The applicable prices and scope of each product are displayed on /v2/purchase.html or a similar purchase page at the time of ordering. Prices are shown in the indicated currency, inclusive or exclusive of taxes as specified on the page.

Payment is processed via external payment providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). By completing a purchase, you also agree to the terms and policies of the respective payment provider.

A purchase is completed when the payment is successfully processed. After successful payment, you will typically receive access to your digital product (e.g. certificate PDF, badge download) either immediately or within a reasonable time frame via the website and/or email.

7. Digital Content, Delivery and Refunds

Our paid offerings are digital content (e.g. PDF certificates, badges) delivered electronically. There is no physical shipping.

Please verify that you enter your data (e.g. name for the certificate) correctly before purchase. If you notice an error (spelling mistake, wrong email, etc.), contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided in the Legal Notice.

Because digital products are delivered electronically and can typically be stored or copied, refunds may be limited. We aim to be fair and reasonable; however, we reserve the right to decide refund requests on a case-by-case basis, especially in cases of misuse or obvious fraud.

If mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction grant you a withdrawal or cancellation right, those statutory rights remain unaffected by these Terms. In many jurisdictions, the right of withdrawal for digital content may expire once you explicitly agree that delivery shall start before the end of the withdrawal period.

8. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Unless stated otherwise, all content on Prompt-Score — including logos, graphics, texts, layouts, design elements and underlying software — is protected by copyright and related intellectual property laws.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Use Prompt-Score for your own non-commercial or professional purposes,
• Download and store certificates and badges that you have legitimately purchased,
• Display such certificates and badges on your profiles, CVs, websites or portfolios, as long as they are not used in a misleading or fraudulent way.

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute or repackage Prompt-Score content, certificates or badges as your own product without our explicit written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

Prompt-Score may integrate or rely on third-party services, such as:

• Payment providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal)
• Analytics or logging tools
• AI infrastructure providers
• Content delivery networks

We are not responsible for the content, security or availability of those third-party services. Your use of them may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies which you should review.

10. Limitation of Liability

Prompt-Score is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Prompt-Score.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law (e.g. liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health under German law).

11. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We may modify or discontinue parts of Prompt-Score (especially Beta features) at any time, for example to improve stability, security or user experience.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will try to provide reasonable notice, for example via the website or by highlighting the date of the last update above. Your continued use of Prompt-Score after changes have taken effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence require otherwise, these Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

The place of jurisdiction shall be the competent court at the registered location of the owner as stated in the Legal Notice.
